This site is a demonstration of camping organization for SCA and similar events.

It is meant to be an organizational framework for encampments like a household participating in larger events. It currently showcases an example called “Test Event 2025.” All of the pages for the event and camp group can go into a private area just for logged in members of your house. It can even be configured to cater to multiple households.

Features here include:

  • Login with Google: Use your Google/Gmail account to log in to the site.
  • Volunteer Signups
  • Meal Planning
  • Camper Registration and information DB
  • Camp Scheduling (When is dinner?)
  • Optional Feedback at every point
  • Multi-user forum/chat with THREE Options, both integrated in the WordPress user system:
    • FluentCommunities – More integrated into the forms and CRM on the back end.
    • BuddyPress – Better end user options and services.
    • Asgaros Forums – A bit simpler and totally free.
  • Back end user database with either (FluentCRM is in use at the moment.)
    • FluentCRM – Fully integrated Customer Relations DB with custom fields.
    • Participants DB – Made from scratch DB that is more of a searchable database than a CRM.
  • As with all WordPress sites, this one has an integrated blog for News etc.
  • Event Calendar: There are so many options for calendar systems that it would be too much work to showcase them all, but some features available include:
    • Calendar views
    • Event lists
    • Event details
    • RSVP
    • Ticket Sales
    • Add-On sales
    • WooCommerce integration
  • Mailing Lists and Newsletters: Not shown in the demo but definitely available – both discussion and announcement lists.
  • Private “Members Only” areas (aside from the forums)
  • Memberships with dues and/or expirations
  • Pretty much anything else WordPress can do…
